THE OLYMPIA PRE-AMPLIFIER SERIES AND DX DIGITAL ANALOG CONVERTER
A high-capacity preamplifier captures the initial signal – which in the case of an older phonograph recording can be quite thin – and gives it volume and clarity while eliminating electronic noise. It is the critical start of the transformation from inert “information,” either digital or analog, to a fully dimensional soundscape. PBN preamplifiers are hand-built, with every resistor, choke or transformer precisely wired and soldered, tested and re-tested. Every model comes with its own power supply, engineered and built to the same exacting standards.
