Nakamichi RX-505 are: 3 discrete heads and off-tape monitoring, digital tape counter with 4 digits and memory stop, manual tape type selection and capable of handling normal, chrome and metal tapes with additional manual equalization selection, belt driven dual-capstan transport.

3 head, bias fine tuning, uni-directional autoreverse (turns TAPE over, not heads). Level controls, fade muting, etc.

One owner with all functions working well. It is in excellent cosmetic and working condition.

3-Head always means three discrete heads, physically independent record, playback and erase heads that are perfectly optimized and critically aligned in magnetic azimuth to ensure flat response to beyond 20 KHz and optimum MOL.
