The PS Audio P 300

  Description:

AC synthesizer. Input: 120V/60Hz. Output: 115V/50-120Hz. Distortion: <0.1% (0.05% typical).

It takes 120v wall current down to 12v and re-amplifies it back to 120v. In this way removing any ac noise that had been on the circuit. It only provides 300 watts of power and is only recommended for low powered tube equipment. It does get hot like an amplifier. It does have degauss mode, tube mode, Filter 1,2,3,4 and 5. It change voltage in single digits which is great for controlling  your turnable speed.
